Unprecedented Major Reform for UAE Residence Visa Regulations, to Apply as of 3rd October 2022!

The UAE cabinet has approved unprecedented major reform in the history of the UAE residence visa policy.

Tourists shall be entitled to a multiple-entries 5 years tourist visa with maximum 90 days stay.

Golden visa shall not be cancelled for those residing outside the UAE.

Those who have a cancelled visa shall have 60 days grace period for renewal instead of 30 days.

A 5-year green visa shall be granted to skilled workers and self-employed.

Golden visa shall be extended to professionals who receive AED30,000/- monthly salary, and those who are seeking employment in the UAE shall be granted entry visa.

As indicated by Major Sultan Yusuf Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Residency and Foreign Affairs “such unique new visa policy - to including various new types of visas to accommodate all segments of investors, business people, talented inventors, skilled workers, top class students - is meant to facilitate the procedures and offer additional benefits to residents in the UAE. This is aligned with the UAE’s goal to improving the lifestyle and make living, working and investing in the UAE, a pleasant, happy experience.
