Dubai tenants have complained of overcharging of housing fee by (DEWA) bills.

Tenants should carefully read their utility bills every month. Some Dubai tenants have complained of overcharging of housing fee by (DEWA) bills on monthly basis. However, the Dubai Municipality said tenants overcharged on their housing fee will be refunded the extra amount. Tenants should approach the municipality with their Ejari-registered contract and their (Dewa) bill.
