Graduated with Honors from CairoUniversitySchool of Law. He was later awarded Master of Laws in International Business Law (International Commercial Arbitration specialism) from Paris Dauphine University, France, and earned an additional postgraduate degree, Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Dallas, Texas.
Mr. El Motei commenced his legal career as a Public Prosecutor in Egypt. Thereafter he entered into private practice as an associate with Baker & McKenzie Law Firm working out of the Cairo, Los Angeles and Dallas offices. Prior to becoming the founding partner of Motei & Associates, Mr. El Motei worked as Regional Legal Counsel for multinational Dubai based food company, Nestle.
Mr. El Motei is admitted as a trial lawyer before the Egyptian Courts of Appeal and is a member of both the American and International Bar Associations. He specializes in general corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, corporate advisory matters, real estate and property, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

Graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin, USA. In 1992, she was awarded her Juris Doctorate in Law from Widener University School of Law (formerly the University of Delaware School of Law) in Pennsylvania and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1993.
Ms. Jameel commenced her legal career in private practice in the United States practicing in Banking & Finance Law, specializing in project finance and mergers and acquisitions. Later she relocated to the United Arab Emirates joining the law firm of Al Tamimi & Company in Dubai as a Senior Legal Consultant in the Banking & Finance Department, focusing particularly on project finance in the energy sector.
In 2001, Ms. Jameel became Chief Counsel for an Oil & Gas Company in Abu Dhabi and was responsible for the legal affairs of the parent company and its subsidiaries for the Middle East and North Africa.
Upon joining Motei & Associates, Ms. Jameel’s practice in mergers and acquisitions continued with particular with a focus on private equity matters. She is a lawyer who has obtained a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial experience and can bring that awareness and expertise to the client.
Ms Jameel is a member of the American Bar Association and the International Bar Association. Her areas of practice include banking & finance, corporate and commercial, energy and infrastructure which include power generation, desalination, thermal energy and wastewater treatment.

Judge Emad Hosny

Graduated in 1977, with honors from Cairo School of Law and Police Academy. He commenced his legal career as a Public Prosecutor in Cairo. In 1985, Judge Hosny was appointed as Judge to the Court of First Instance in Egypt and in 1993 became Chief Judge of the Court of First Instance.
In 2000, he was appointed to serve as Chief Judge and Vice President of the Egyptian Court of Appeals until he decided to pursue a career in private legal practice in 2002.
Judge Hosny has over 22 years of experience in civil and procedural law, constitutional law, international law and treaties, white collar crimes and commercial litigation.

Graduated in 2000, with Honors from the Lebanese University, Beirut, with a Bachelor of Law. In 2003, Mr. Naim was awarded Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade Law from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Mohamed El Desouky

Graduated in 1998 with honors as a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from Alexandria University, Egypt. Mr. El Desouky commenced his legal career as a Consultant in the State Lawsuits Authority in Egypt advising the State across a full range of legal issues, and appearing before national and international courts and arbitral tribunals.
Mr. El Desouky, thereafter, pursued his civil law practice as a litigation lawyer with the Custody Clearance Agency working out of The Ministry of Finance in Egypt where he gained considerable experience conducting high level litigation.
Since relocating to Dubai, Mr. El Desouky specializes in all aspects of litigation, including acting for claimants and defendants in matters of fraud, property and real estate disputes, execution and enforcement of judgments and all related legal advisory work.

Graduated in 2002 with Honors as a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) from Liverpool John Moores University, England. In 2003 she was awarded Master of Laws (LL.M) with an International and Business Law specialism from the University of Liverpool. Miss Botham completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester, England in 2004 and thereafter qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in August 2006, having successfully completed her training contract.
Miss Botham commenced her legal career in private practice with a UK law firm specializing in civil litigation. She has advised in all areas of general civil litigation with an emphasis upon commercial litigation, employment tribunal claims, alternative dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration.
Having gained experience in civil litigation Miss Botham later transferred to a specialist criminal litigation firm where she advised and represented across the full range of criminal offences, including grave crimes and white collar crimes. She is an advocate experienced in conducting Trials and Hearings in both the civil and criminal Courts, acting for prosecution and defence.
Miss Botham relocated to Dubai in order to utilize her LL.M in international law and business and specializes in litigation and arbitration (including labour and employment matters) and corporate commercial advisory work.

Graduated in 2004 as a Bachelor of Law with Honors from the University Saint Joseph, Beirut, Lebanon. Mrs. Sokhn was awarded a Masters Degree (LL.M) in Private Law and Affaires from the University Saint Joseph Co-diplomat by Pantheon-Assas, Paris II in 2006.
Mrs. Sokhn holds a keen interest in legal research. As trainee in private practice in Lebanon she researched and drafted a report concerning the conditions in Lebanese prisons and the application of the relevant law No. 463/2002. Mrs. Sokhn was a legal research assistant on the Lebanese Electoral Law in coordination with UNDP and the Lebanese Intellectual Property Law of the 3 April 1999 concerning “la propriété littéraire et artistique” literary and artistic properties, published at www.memoireonline.free.fr
