Graduated with honors from Cairo University School of Law. He was
later awarded his Masters of Law in International Business Law (Int’l
Commercial Arbitration) from Paris Dauphine University, in France,
and earned an additional postgraduate degree: Masters of Law (LL.M.)
in International and Comparative Law from Southern Methodist University
(SMU), Dallas, Texas.
He commenced his legal career as a Public Prosecutor in Egypt and
pursued a private law practice as an associate with Baker &
Mckenzie Law Firm in Cairo, Los Angeles and Dallas offices. Prior
to establishing his law practice in Dubai, he worked as Regional
Legal Counsel for a multinational Dubai-based food company (Nestlé).
He is admitted as a trial lawyer before the Egyptian Courts of
Appeal and is a member of the American Bar Association and the International
Bar Association. He is specialized in corporate and commercial matters,
including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate
advisory work. He is fluent (spoken and written) in Arabic, English
& French.
Emad Hosny (Of Counsel)

Graduated with honors from Cairo School of Law and Police Academy
in 1977. He commenced his legal career as a Public Prosecutor in
Cairo. In 1985, Mr. Hosny was appointed as Judge to the Court of
First Instance in Egypt and in 1993 became Chief Judge of the Court
of First Instance.
In 2000, he was appointed to serve as Chief Judge and Vice President
of the Egyptian Court of Appeals until he decided to pursue a career
in private legal practice in 2002.
Mr. Hosny has over 22 years of experience in civil and procedural
law, constitutional law, international law and treaties, white collar
crimes and commercial litigation. He is fluent (spoken and written)
in Arabic & English.
Omar El Fahel

Graduated with honors from Temple University in Pennsylvania with
a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. In 2001, Mr. El Fahel attained
his Juris Doctorate Degree from Thomas J. Cooley School of Law in
Michigan, USA.
He commenced his legal career as in-house counsel for one of the
largest oil and gas companies in the US (Union Oil Company of California
(UNOCAL)) in Houston, Texas. Mr. El Fahel served on the litigation
team involved in the landmark case of the Department of Energy &
Mineral Management Service of the USA vs. the major oil/gas companies
in the US. He is specialized in energy law, including oil &
gas upstream and downstream and has been involved in drafting and
negotiating gas balancing, interruptible natural gas purchase, gas
handling and transportation, base purchase and sales, joint operating
and lease agreements as well as farmout and dry-hole agreements.
In addition, Mr. El Fahel was involved in handling general corporate
and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions and general
corporate advisory work.
He is admitted to the Texas Bar and is a member of the American
Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is fluent
(spoken and written) in Arabic and English.
